WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2012 in Antigua Guatemala, Xibalba is a space for creation and contemplation dedicated to contemporary jewelry and handcrafted objects.
The name Xibalba means “the place where stones are born”: a point of origin where matter takes shape through craft, time, and intention.

Our specialty is handmade jewelry, created mainly with recycled metals —gold and silver— and Guatemalan jade, stones consciously collected from the rivers of the Sierra de las Minas.
Each material is carefully selected and crafted in our workshops by our community of artists and jewelers in Guatemala, respecting its origin and highlighting its natural character.

For more than a decade, Xibalba has evolved into a creative house of material exploration and contemporary design, where jewelry, objects, and experience converge.
In our home in Antigua Guatemala —a restored 18th-century colonial house— visitors can discover our collections, take part in workshops, or design a custom piece alongside our artisans.

Xibalba represents the union of technique, intention, and permanence.
We don’t follow trends — we build our own language, honoring craftsmanship, material durability, and the beauty of what is essential.
